Finally, Hult Prize 2024 was successfully held in Rajshahi University for the 7th time.
Last Saturday (February 24) at noon, the Halt Grand Finale was held at Sir Jagdish Chandra Bose Academic Building of the University. At the culmination of innovation and entrepreneurship, the Hult Prize Grand Finale for 2024 concluded with much fanfare at the University of Rajshahi.
The Hult Prize showcases the world’s brightest minds striving to address global challenges. All are united by a common goal: to create sustainable solutions that tackle social problems head on More than 150 teams participating in this competition were united with a common goal out of which the best 6 teams were selected for the final round. Among the best teams in the competition, Team “Vanquishers” won and at the same time, First Runner-up – Team “The Conquerors”, Second Runner-up – Team “Inspirillas”. Amid intense competition and anticipation, teams pitched their groundbreaking ideas across a wide range of fields such as healthcare, education, environmental sustainability.
The esteemed panel of judges included Syed Abdullah Shawon, Managing Director and CEO of Realister Property Limited, and JCI Rajshahi Region President, Start Up Founder and Regional Operations Lead of BDIPS – Mahir Asif, Talent Management and Rewards Head of Marico Bangladesh – Md Tasbirul Alam Abir, And University Statistics Department Professor Dr. Muhammad Manimul Haque, Accounting and Information Systems Department Professor Dr. Roksana Banu, Management Studies Department Professor Dr. Muhammad Zahirul Anis.

Participants had the opportunity to engage with like-minded individuals, mentors and industry experts, with competitions such as this encouraging a variety of connections that extend beyond the event itself.
Held in Rabi for the 7th time, the Halt Prize unveils a legacy of innovation and talent making a social impact as it draws the curtain on another successful edition. The ideas and connections generated during this event are poised to catalyze real change, illustrating the power of entrepreneurship to shape a better world for all. It is an inter-university event involving students from different countries.
