Arif Ullah and Lutfur Rahman Babu received the BCF journalist award

Bangladesh Community in France (BCF) awarded the journalist Mohammad Arif Ullah of France Twenty Four and Infomigrants web portal and the France representative of private television Somoy TV’s Mohammad Lutfur Rahman Babu for their special contribution to journalism.

They were given this honor at the ‘BCF Reunion and Students Award’ ceremony organized in a hall in Paris on Saturday (January 27) afternoon. Individuals and organizations in various categories are also felicitated for their work in the Bangladeshi community.

Walid bin Kashem, the head of the Embassy of Bangladesh in France, handed over the memorial to them, Professor Dr. Wahidur Rahman and cultural personality Hasnat Jahan.

BCF President MD Noor delivered a welcome speech on the occasion jointly moderated by Zahirul Rana and Farsina Hossain.

Journalist Lutfur Rahman Babu said, ‘Each honor increases people’s sense of responsibility and duty one step. I will definitely be motivated in my work by this award. I will continue to do my work from the responsibility towards the reader in providing objective news. At the same time, I will try to highlight the various problems of expatriate Bangladeshis from now on.

Journalist Arif Ullah said, “I am grateful to BCF for awarding me journalistic honor.” As I am an immigrant myself. As such, the recognition received from a community of immigrants will encourage me to work.’
