Netizens claim that Sheikh Hasina, from India, is giving various directives to her supporters to create instability in the country. These phone conversations are circulating on social media. One such three-minute and 17-second call was obtained by Jago News on Sunday night (October 27).
In this new call, a voice resembling Sheikh Hasina’s can be heard saying to someone, “You’ll have to wait until December. Don’t those who set fire to your homes have homes of their own? Do I have to spell everything out?”
The voice on the other end is claimed to be that of Shakil Alam Bulbul, former president of the Chhatra League and chairman of Gobindaganj Upazila in Gaibandha. His current whereabouts are unknown.
Sheikh Hasina says, “Cases, I don’t just have cases in Gobindaganj—I have 227 murder cases across the entire country. I say, make a list of everyone; you make your list too. I’ve been given a license for 227 murders. The punishment for one case is the same as for over 200, isn’t it? Fine, I’ll take that punishment, but first, let me settle things with all 200. Keep that in mind.”
