“Disappearance” lawsuit brought against Sheikh Hasina

Charges against former prime minister Sheikh Hasina, for the first time, have been filed in the International Criminal Tribunal (ICT Tribunal) over the disappearance.

The complaint was filed on Monday (September 23).

ICT Tribunal’s complaint against Sheikh Hasina mentions that “a businessman was taken to the DB office and tortured for 10 days”.

At the same time, all the cases of disappearances during the regime of Awami League government have been asked to be investigated.

Meanwhile, Asahabul Yamin’s uncle has filed a complaint in the tribunal regarding the shooting and throwing of the student Yamin from the APC van at Pakiza junction in Savar. 78 people including Sheikh Hasina and Obaidul Quader have been accused.
