Chittagong Medical College (CMC) hospital authorities arrested a broker named Taiyab Ali Patwari (52) from the Intensive Care Center (ICU) of Chittagong Hospital.
Wearing a doctor’s apron, he entered the ICU and spoke to the patient’s relatives. This incident happened on Monday afternoon.
According to Chittagong Medical College Hospital sources, a man named Taib Ali Patwari entered the ICU wearing a doctor’s apron. Later an ID card was found on searching his pocket.
It was seen there that he is a technician of a private diagnostic center called Chittagong Lab Limited in front of Chittagong Medical College Hospital. His home is Faridganj of Chandpur.
Brigadier Shamim Ahsan, director of Chittagong Medical College Hospital, said the man was talking to patients in the ICU wearing a doctor’s apron. I was also there then. When asked about his identity, he could not give any answer. If in doubt, arrest him and give him to the police. Later it is known that the person is an official of a lab. Legal action is pending against him.
