The President reached the Sajek Valley tourist center of Rangamati on a 3-day vacation. Sahabuddin. He arrived at Sajek Helipad by Sajek Helicopter on Saturday (February 10) around 1:30 pm.
Baghaichhari Acting Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Mahfuzur Rahman said that His Excellency the President has arrived today for a three-day visit on February 10-12. All preparations have been taken in this regard.
Acting UNO also said that during the visit, the President will enjoy various cultural programs of ethnic groups living in Chittagong Hill Tracts and will enjoy the natural beauty of Sajek. He will also visit various spots in Sajek during his tour.
Sources said the President will stay at Khasrang Resort on Kanglak Pahar Road and leave Sajek on February 12 at noon. Senior officials of various administrations of the district are in readiness for the President’s visit.
Around 80 of the 116 resorts of Sajek have been allocated for various officials and tourists can stay in the remaining 36 resorts, said the Sajek Cottage Owners Association.
