In Konkan across Chittagong due to heavy rains in the winter, people’s lives have suffered a lot. For several days, fog and severe cold have been shaking the entire Chittagong. Wednesday morning was also relatively foggy. That trend continues on Thursday.
On Wednesday (January 24), the sky became cloudy after noon. After that afternoon, there were reports of drizzle in many places across Chittagong. The rain continued throughout the night. Although the amount of rain is not much, it has greatly increased the severity of winter. In such a situation, the movement of people on the main main roads of Chittagong city also decreases.
Konkan winter has been falling in cold air with thick fog for a week across Chittagong. Life has become unbearable. The temperature is gradually decreasing. The Meteorological Department recorded the lowest temperature at Sitakunda in Chittagong at 10 degrees Celsius.
Added to this was the drizzle. This rain has increased the severity of winter. The victims of this are the poor, the downtrodden and the working people of low income. They are not even able to work in this bitter winter.
Meanwhile, light rain may continue in different parts of the country including Chittagong on Thursday (January 25).
The Department of Meteorology has predicted that there may be light rain in one or two places in Chittagong division on Thursday night as well. The night temperature may drop slightly and the day temperature may remain almost unchanged.
On the other hand, on Friday (January 26), the weather forecast may remain dry with partly cloudy skies.
