The closer the elections get, the more desperate the BNP gets to foil it and so they are lashing out one last time, Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader said on Thursday.
He made the remarks at the party president’s office in Dhanmondi.
When asked about AL’s meeting with the Jatiya Party (JaPa), Quader said there have been no discussions regarding seat sharing in the upcoming 12th national elections between JaPa or the 14-party alliance.
“We have discussed political matters so that the election goes well,” he said.
