Jatiya Party Chief Patron Raushan Ershad has asked for party’s three nomination forms – one for herself, the other two for his son Rahgir Al Mahi Ershad (Saad Ershad) and party leader KR Islam from Mymensingh.
However, Secretary General of Jatiya Party Mujibul Haque (Chunnu) informed the media that these forms were not collected till Saturday evening.
He said, “Raushan Ershad called me personally yesterday (Thursday). She has sought three nomination forms for herself, son Saad Ershad and KR Islam. But did not collect.”
Meanwhile, the political secretary of Jatiya Party’s chief patron Golam Masih told the media this afternoon that Raushan Ershad is waiting for a meeting with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. This meeting may take place in a couple of days.
