Rifat Garments Limited, a sister concern of Ha-Meem Group, has been crowned with the ‘Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Export Trophy’ for highest export earnings in 2020-21 fiscal year.
Apart from Rifat Garments Limited, the government awarded the National Export Trophy to 72 exporters on Wednesday based on the volume of shipments they made during the 2020–21 fiscal year.
Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi handed over the trophies to the recipients at a programme jointly organised by the commerce ministry and the Export Promotion Bureau at Osmani Memorial Auditorium in Dhaka.
The awards were presented in 32 categories to 73 businesses.
FBCCI President Mahbubul Alam, EPB Vice Chairman AHM Ahsan spoke at the event with Commerce Ministry Senior Secretary Tapan Kanti Ghosh in the chair.
Ha-Meem Group Managing Director and former president of FBCCI A.K. Azad and Pran Dairy Limited Director (Corporate Finance) Uzma Chowdhury, expressed their feelings on the occasion.
