has been damaged due to vandalism by the angry students over the shuttle train accident.

the agitators came to the transport department from the vice-chancellor’s residence and vandalized more than fifty vehicles, including 2 AC buses, 30 non buses, 18 private cars, 2 pickups, 1 motorcycle and 1 police car.
The university’s administration has filed two cases in connection with vandalism and arson in the campus. On Saturday night, there were two cases of vandalism have filed
at Hathajari police station. The names of 14 students of the university has been mentioned in the case. Most of them are activitors of Chhatra League. Besides, 1000 unknown students have been made accused.
Chittagong District Additional Superintendent of Police Abu Taib Mohammad Arif Hossain has confirmed the case. University’s security officer Sheikh Md. Abdur Razzaq is the plaintiff in one of the two cases. . Acting registrar of the university KM Noor Ahmed is the plaintiff in another case.
In this regard, the University Vice-Chancellor said, this vandalism must have been pre-planned. If not, where did they get Max? Where did they get Kirch? How did so many vehicles vandalized at the moment? Vandalized the Vice Chancellor’s residence. How did this destruction happen? Of course it was premeditated. Those involved in this incident must be brought to justice.
