The Chinese Embassy in Dhaka has sent gifts to the main opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party chairperson Khaleda Zia.
On Friday, the gifts were delivered to the BNP chairperson’s office in Gulshan through a courier service, BNP media cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan confirmed.
‘None of us were in the office when it was arrived,’ Shayrul Kabir said, adding, ‘We later learnt that there were things like snacks, biscuits.’
‘Madam’s name (Khaleda Zia) was written on the packet,’ he mentioned.
Earlier on August 15, 2020, the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka sent greetings and gifts to the BNP chairperson on her birthday.
