Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen expressed his confidence that if the upcoming election is conducted in a free, fair, and transparent manner, the Awami League will emerge victorious. Following a meeting with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken in Washington on Monday (April 10) night, Momen made the statement during a press briefing.
Momen also highlighted the government’s efforts to provide affordable and free food to around one and a half crore people, including 50 lakh widows and unemployed individuals. He claimed that people from all walks of life, including the poor, students, businessmen, teachers, parents, and the general public, are satisfied with the government’s performance.
The minister said that the absence of strikes in schools and businesses has contributed to the satisfaction of students and businessmen. The minister emphasized that the public’s happiness is a testament to the government’s success, and he expressed hope that the Awami League will win the next election if it is conducted fairly and transparently.
