Government and private Hajj registration will start on February 8 and will end on February 23. The Ministry of Religious Affairs issued a notice for registration on Sunday.
The Holy Hajj will be held on June 27 (9 Zilhj) this year according to the moon sighting.
According to the Hajj agreement with Saudi Arabia, 127 thousand 198 people from Bangladesh will be able to perform Hajj this time. Out of this, 15,000 under government management and 1,12,198 under private management will have the opportunity to perform Hajj.
The cost of government management will be 6 lakh 83 thousand 18 taka. And private management will cost six lakh 72 thousand 618 taka. This time the airfare has been fixed at 1 lakh 97 thousand 797 taka.
