According to the announced schedule, the country’s 22nd presidential election will be held on February 19. Interested candidates can submit nomination form on February 12 from 10 am to 4 pm. After February 13 scrutiny, nomination papers can be withdrawn till February 14 at 4 pm.
Chief Election Commissioner Kazi Habibul Awal, who is the ‘Electoral Officer’, will conduct the presidential election. Nomination papers should be submitted in his office (Chief Election Commissioner’s office) during office hours on the appointed day. Voting will be held as per rules in the session room of the Parliament on February 19 between 2 pm and 5 pm.
