Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested an Indian truck driver with 132 mobile phones from Sonamasjid frontier on Saturday afternoon.
The arrested Indian citizen is Md Soleman, 28, son of Azizul Ali of Narendrapur under English Bazar thana of West Bengal in India.
Commanding Officer of 59 battalion of BGB Lt Col Ameer Hossain Molla said, a special patrol team of BGB comprising 13 BGB members and five Customs officials on a tip off searched an Indian truck in Sonamasjid land port area and seized the mobile phones at around 4 pm.
BGB also detained the truck. Later, BGB handed him over to the police of Shibganj thana with a case.
