General Secretary of Awami League and Minister of Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader has commented that if seven BNP members leave the National Parliament, the Parliament will stand still. Nothing will happen. He made this comment while talking about the announcement of resignation of seven MPs of BNP. Quader addressed the Awami League rally in Savar on Saturday (December 10) afternoon.
Calling the decision of BNP MPs to resign as ‘wrong’, Quader said, ‘Awami League has a huge majority in the National Parliament. There is no reason to think that parliament will be paralyzed if seven members of BNP leave. The party must repent for this.’
At that time, Obaidul Quader said, ‘Tareek Rahman’s money laundering money has been caught in Singapore. The FBI has given evidence after coming to the country. Swiss bank money. Country by country luxury market. BNP did not get permission for 10th rally in Nayapaltan. What did they do before they were supposed to get there they prepared. Addressing BNP, Quader said, ‘He did not go to Paltan today. The half is defeated. Dhaka is occupied by Sheikh Hasina’s workers today.
He further said about BNP, ‘Now they have appointed lobbyists. A few days ago, the United States imposed a ban on RAB. Leaked. A British lawyer, Toby Cadman, said in an interview with Al Jazeera, “I have lobbied for a ban on the RAB, the police in the United Kingdom and the United States.” The US listened, the UK didn’t. Al Jazeera himself said this.
The bridge minister said, ‘On December 10, BNP dreamed of taking power. But what happened before December 10? The police went to their office and found 160 sacks of rice and pulses.
