About 85 percent of the candidates participated in the 1st year undergraduate admission test of government seven colleges affiliated to Dhaka University (DU). On Friday (August 12) night, the Dean of Science Faculty of Dhaka University confirmed the matter to Dhaka Post. Md. Abdus Samad.
He said, on Friday from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm, admission test of science unit was held in 14 centers of the capital. 85 percent of the candidates participated in it. Science faculty admission test was held in a beautiful and fair environment. We have not received any untoward incidents.In response to the question of when the results can be published, Professor Samad said, usually it is possible to publish the results within seven days. But it may not take seven days. Hopefully, I will be able to publish the results before that.
It should be noted that if there is any doubt about the result of the admission test, any candidate has the opportunity to re-examine.
In this case, within 5 working days from the date of publication of the merit list , the candidate’s answer sheet can be audited by applying to the Head of ‘Science Unit’ (Dean, Faculty of Science) along with the deposit receipt at the Agrani Bank branch of Curzon Hall area of Dhaka University by submitting an audit fee of Tk.1000/- (one thousand) . If there is a change in the marks obtained by the candidate as a result of the audit, the audit fee will be refunded and necessary corrections will be made in the merit list.
