The Chittagong Metropolitan Police is going to ensure special security so that no one can extort money from the sacrificial market and animal skins. Commissioner Sahel Mohammad Tanvir has already confirmed that the security preparations of the police have been completed. He said this at a press conference at the CMP headquarters on Thursday afternoon.

The police commissioner said cattle market-centric security has already been implemented. Now I have reached the last moment of the market. Special security measures have been put in place to prevent counterfeit money transactions in the markets and to prevent Tanamarti or Malam Party violence. Apart from this, the police are patrolling the important roads of the city so that no one can extort money in bringing and taking cattle to the market.
Apart from this, security of Eid Jamaat on the day of sacrifice, most people will go to the village on the occasion of sacrifice, then there will be extra police surveillance in the vacant residential areas. So that no one can commit theft or criminal activities. From noon on the day of the sacrifice, no one can do anything unpleasant with the skin of the animal, so that the skins can reach the destination safely, the overall security of the police has been prepared.

Police Commissioner Saleh Mohammad Tanvir has already received the transfer order. He will leave Chittagong after 22 months of service. He will join the Rajarbagh Police Hospital in Dhaka as director. Describing various memories of his 22-month career, he said, “I have received the sincerity of my colleagues as well as the support of the media during my tenure. I have not received such cooperation in the past. It will be memorable. ‘

He said, ‘CMP has manpower limitations. For this reason, the police members working in CMP have to perform additional duties. The security of this most important metropolis after the capital Dhaka needs more police personnel. The proposal has already been sent to the police headquarters.
