Results of the Cumilla City Corporation elections were changed at the last moment, according to news which spread, quoting defeated independent candidate Monirul Haque (Sakku)
A controversy has emerged over the matter.
In sequel to this statement, a quarter said there was a special reason behind the delay in declaring results of four centres.
On the contrary, several media outlets have published news that the results were changed after a certain phone call.
