“We had a chance to do better in the first innings,” Karunaratne said. But unfortunately we could not do that. Even then, thanks to the bowlers, they did not allow the opponent to take a big lead. It wasn’t easy to get the ball rolling for this heat. But they did well.
He added that the spinners bowled well in the Chittagong Test. Here we have tried to do something different. We got out playing some bad shots. Then we had to change our strategy. Unfortunately, we have not been able to put such pressure on Bangladesh in the last days.
