Jaya Ahsan has bagged another award in Kolkata. This time, the prestigious West Bengal Film Journalists Association (WBFJA) honoured her as Best Actress for her excellent performance in Atanu Ghosh’s “Binisutoy”.
The actress posted pictures of the award ceremony on social media, receiving the honours from eminent actor Prosenjit Chatterjee.
“Honored and overwhelmed to receive the Best Actress award at prestigious WBFJA Cinemar Somabarton for “Binisutoy”,” she wrote.
“Sincere thanks to the Jury for honouring me with this prestigious award and thanks to Atanu Da and the whole team of “Binisutoy” for trusting me and my audience for all the love.”
The film won other awards in different categories—Best film (critic), Ritwick Chakraborty as Best Actor and Atanu Ghosh as Best Director.
